A text box shows the words: The weather changed, bringing snow. Nothing too bad, just the gentle fall of slushy ice, so we kept moving.

Panel 2 shows a dark night sky and snow falling down.

A text box shows:
"The nights were dark, but so far the trip had been mostly peaceful. We were shocked because as far as we knew, the perils of this plant were extreme. Either the rumours that previous explorers had never returned due to these dangers were greatly exaggerated or something was off. But that was just one thing we'd have to investigate."

A text bubble says: "What do you think about the snow, Meky"

"It's strange, it makes the floor look lifeless and cold. But that makes everything else stand out as it is all warmer."

Panel 3: Shows the mountains and snow and trees and more text. It also shows what looks like a path between the snow banks.
The narration says "However we noticed something... Something that made no sense to us."

K'auzau says "Hey guys? Kyat? I just realised something..."
Kyat: "What is it?"
K'auzau: "We've been in the wild area for 9 days... and yet... it seems we are following a path. Not a natural one; I mean, an actual trail."
Kyat: "Holy Skarth, you're right!"
