"You found success, you became pretty rich. You finally got a good life. You even got a ... girlfriend, I guess? You finally got a family. I know our relationship has never been the best, but I'm still very proud of you, son."

"You know... if I didn't know you, i'd say you sound almost reasonable. My problem is that I know you. So please stop the bullshit and just tell me what you really want? And please, don't grab the sushi with your fingers."

"Heh, you know, brutal honesty isn't always the best approach when adults are trying to talk. If anything it makes you sound quite spoiled and ungrateful. Your grandmother would be disappointed if she heard you right now."

"For someone who talks so much about family, you're very cold. I truly admire what you have achieved. I even came to this place in the middle of nowhere not just to tell you that. But because I want you back into ours."
